How to Export Your MIDI Drums
To ensure your drum tracks are ready for mixing, please follow these steps carefully:
1 Export as a MIDI File with Tempo Information
First, export your MIDI drums as a MIDI file. Make sure to include the tempo information within the file to ensure the timing matches perfectly with your entire track.
2 Export Individual Drum Stems
Next, export your drums as individual stems to capture the exact sound of your drum kit. This means you'll need to export each drum shell (e.g., kick, snare, toms) as separate audio tracks.
Mono and Stereo Exporting Guidelines
-Kick, Snare , Toms, Close Cymbals mics must be exported in MONO.
-Overheads, Room mics should be exported in STEREO.
